/song love

Last night I was listening to Show Tunes Saturday Night on 106.5 (which I recommend the rest of you do as well). This song came on that I hadn't heard before, and so I kind of paid better attention to it and... holy cow, I loved it. So I listened really closely to hear what it was and what it was from. In the Heights (which I haven't heard of before so I don't have much clue what's going on here, past that it was a language lesson gone... awry), Sunrise.

So I found it on YouTube and I've been listening to it, like, all day. Sooo cute. (Why yes, I am allowed the occasional girlish fancy. :P)

:D

  1. I agree- it is cute. And whoever said that you weren't allowed the fantasy, hrm? ;)

But I do love Show Tune Saturdays, whenever I have the opportunity to listen.

  2. I dunno, I just worried some of my friends (like... Madison or Jen) would be like "Ohmigosh Mary liked a love song D8"
I have those moments all the time with Peyton though.

    Awesome. x)

  3. Mary, I would never deny you of any girly pleasure!! Don't worry about what I think, cuz you are so much cooler without my help!! And I quite agree with you, this is an awesome song!! I didn't really get it at first but it is like she is teaching him spanish and it is just the cutest thing!! I encourage more of these guilty pleasures, by the way!! :)

  4. I don't worry about what you think, what're you talking about. P:
jk, but that was meant as a joke. Harder to get across playful sarcasm on the internet though.

I question your use of guilty pleasures here. If listening to cute songs is something that should make me guilty then my life sucks.
