So I've been in Advisory for the past while because of my math teacher's 1,000 point Disclosure Document, which I didn't turn in simply because he never collected it and so I never thought to hand it in. It's been signed since the day I got it, I'm just absentminded and, apparently, so is he.
I've known about it for a while now, but kept forgetting to go and hand it to him, but Madison's been getting after me for not turning it in yet, and I think even Robertson is getting annoyed at my having to be in Advisory every day for a disclosure document. So today I remembered to get it out at the end of class, went over to Palmer, and handed it to him, along with a long-winded explanation of why it was so late in hopes that he wouldn't get mad at me.
I don't think he listened at all, just took the paper and said, "Okay, I'll get that in." and headed over to his computer.
o.O
And here I was worrying he wouldn't even let me turn it in, or that he would at least be mad at me or something. I need to stop my mind from giving me constant worst-case scenarios, I'd get a lot more done.
But, this song comes in quite well with the story:

I also had to post it for Madison since she doesn't believe Groovelily writes any good music. I think this has to be among the best in the world (not to mention it gave me my 'Mission Statement'- yet another dumb English assignment, kinda like this blog- in a good three seconds).

There were some really good lyrics in that song, I didn't so much like the guy's voice, and man, he hit some really high notes. But I really liked it. Good song. :) I also loved the fact that I was mentioned so many times in this post. It made me feel special! :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, Milburn's voice isn't my favorite sort, but he is good at those high notes. xD He's better when he's harmonizing with Vigoda.
ReplyDeletelol
Vigoda? Wow. That was originally one short comment. Then I added these last couple of sentences. Now it's not so short. :P
ReplyDeleteValerie Vigoda... the lead singer of Groovelily, female.... Think the lady from the Progressive commercials. ;D
